At this year’s Mid-Atlantic Dharma Celebration, we will receive the Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Amitayus from Kadam Morten.  Amitayus means an immeasurable life span. When we open our heart to Buddha Amitayus’ guidance, he will help us increase our wisdom, our merit (our ability to fulfill our wishes), and, most importantly, he will help us protect our most precious possession — our life. Through his blessings, we increase our energy and lifespan with which to complete the spiritual path.

The empowerment is a blissful guided meditation through which we make a direct connection with this sublime Buddha, and receive powerful blessings.  Empowerments create the opportunity for us to receive extraordinary wisdom blessings to enable us to build our connection to enlightened beings who provide us with tremendous assistance on the spiritual path.
